Frequently asked questions
Which networks does the French Polynesia eSIM use?
It connects to Vini (5G).
How long do French Polynesia eSIM plans last?
Plans last 7 to 30 days. Days start when you first connect at your destination. You can add data to the same eSIM later.
When does my plan start?
Validity starts the first time you connect at your destination, not when you buy or install the eSIM. Some plans start at installation instead; they are clearly labeled, so install those after you arrive.
When should I install my eSIM?
Before you travel, while you still have Wi-Fi. Then switch it on when you land.
Will it work on my phone?
Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked from its carrier. Check your phone's settings or ask your carrier.
Can I buy a data add-on later?
Yes. On plans that support data add-ons, you can add data to the same eSIM.
Is my phone compatible?
Check that your phone supports eSIM before you buy.
